AT-LARGE GOVERNOR PENINA K. LIEBER

Penina Kessler Lieber, Of Counsel in the Pittsburgh office of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP, is serving a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors as an at-large governor representing the interests of women lawyers in Pennsylvania.

A current member of the PBA House of Delegates, Lieber is a past chair of the PBA Charitable Organizations Committee and the PBA Attorney Discipline Study Committee. She is a charter member and executive council member of the PBA Commission on Women in the Profession.

Lieber is a Trustee of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation and the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. She is a member of the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Lieber also is a member of the American Bar Association and serves on the editorial board of the ABA Judges Journal.

She is a director of the ARCS Foundation in Pittsburgh, a director/solicitor for the East End Cooperative Ministry and a director/solicitor for Fair Oaks of Pittsburgh. She has served on the boards of directors of a variety of other charitable, educational and cultural organizations in the Pittsburgh area.

Lieber is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a Woodrow Wilson Fellow at Harvard University. She earned a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review.
