Westmoreland County lawyer Robert I. Johnston, a partner in Belden Law in Greensburg, is serving a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors.
One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA board, Johnston represents Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland county lawyers.
A long-time member of the PBA Professional Liability Committee, Johnston served as its chair in 2000 – 2004. He has been a member of the PBA House of Delegates since 1997. Johnston served as president of the Westmoreland Bar Association in 2004-05. He is the founder and the first president of the Ned J. Nakles Inn of Court.
Active in his community, Johnston served on the boards of directors of the Clelian Heights School for Exceptional Children, 1998 – 2005, and the ARC of Westmoreland, 1992 – 1996.
Johnston is a graduate of Allegheny College and the Duquesne University School of Law.
