One of 12 zone governors, Beardsley represents Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Mercer county lawyers. Her term will expire in 2011.

A longtime PBA member, Beardsley has served as president and vice president of the Armstrong County Bar Association. She also is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

Active in her community, Beardsley serves on the board of directors of Laurel Legal Services Inc. and was a board member for the Progressive Workshop and HAVIN.

Beardsley received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Andrews University, her Master of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
