Veterans Day 2011 Message from Legal Services Corp. Board Chair
On Nov. 11, John G. Levi, board chairman of the Legal Services Corp., honored veterans for their service and for the courage that "keeps alive the values of our Founding Fathers," including the value of equal justice. Pine Tree Legal Assistance in Portland, Me., A nonprofit legal aid program funded by the Legal Services Corporation (LSC), has established the first website in the nation to focus exclusively on federal legal rights and resources important to veterans, according to the LSC.
